We stayed in this place for 2 weeks due to us working late in Paarl. My first impression was that the picture is quite deceiving from the actual place. We arrived earlier than check-in time which is at 16:00 (normal check-in time is 14:00 at most places). It was our fault that we didn’t inform the host that we would be coming at around 14:00 as we just assumed that check in time would be 14:00 like the other places we’ve ever stayed. When we finally checked in, we did not get briefed on how things work in the place like we normally have at other places where the host would give us a welcoming greet and explain how things work at their place. We could not watch TV and could not connect to WiFi while those facilities are stated on the net. No information book available for the guest. Only a little coffee left and there’s no sugar in the kitchen. There is a sort of chicken coop in the back area which needs some cleaning and TLC. We also found two worms in the bathroom. Its more like a hippie kind of place. Not recommended.
